The Best Way To Vay-Cay!

What are your plans for summer vacation? The Memorial Day weekend marks the start of the summer vacation season. Every year, I mull over my vacation options. I think... what would make the perfect vacation? Somewhere tropical would be nice; a good spa is always a treat; a trip to California to see my family makes me happy; but a stay-cation at home to tackle some household projects would be good too. So many options, so little vacation time. I read somewhere that Europeans have three times more vacation than we do here in the U.S. but I suppose with three times more vacation, I’d just have more decisions about what to do.

So, I think I’ve narrowed it down. I’m definitely going to California. My oldest nephew, Blake is graduating from high school and we’re also having a family reunion this year. I’m going to seek out a place with a great beach and if there’s a spa nearby, even better. And I’m attending a convention this year that includes a cruise, which will be a first for me.


Now, all I need is a new pair of sunglasses and a few summertime outfits -- and I think I know just where to find both -- let the vacation season begin!!!
