In case you missed it!

Hello Mackinistas! Did you see Bob on QVC the other week? Wow, between Fashion Day and four amazing shows, there was so much to see and buy! What did you get for yourself? Bob brought some gorgeous creations for spring. If you missed the shows, here is another look at something that I really love. It’s Bob Mackie's Giraffe-Print Pique Zip-Front Jacket (A222229) and the matching cropped pant (A222230)

If you love the fashion forward textures, Mackie-style, this is a great choice for you.  It’s available in blue, natural and the pink, which I have. As a full outfit, it makes a bold statement. Bob recommends these as separates as well. I wear mine with a variety of coordinating pieces that offer many looks for casual or more upscale dressing. Here are some examples:

The pants with a cute little top for a summer afternoon.

The jacket is chic and adds so much to a pair of white pants or capris.

This photo shows off the beautiful color, texture and a great collar that gives the jacket a little bit of attitude.

See what I mean?

The finished edges of the 3/4 length sleeves let you flip them back or wear them down for a little more coverage.

A ¾ length sleeve lets you show off your jewelry. A finished edge lets you flip them back or wear them down for a little more coverage. Can you see the beauty of Bob’s hand drawn art? You can almost see the pencil as it moved in the many directions to compose this print. A couple of design details: The pants are meant to be a cropped pant. They have a side zip and button closure, back elastic waistband, and a great fabric combination of 97% cotton and 3% spandex. They are intended to be semi-fitted. The jacket has the same fab fabric content and is lined for a finished look.

I know you are looking for that one exciting look to add to your wardrobe. How about this one as the party statement for an Easter affair? If you know Bob Mackie, he recommends turning heads wherever you go…this one will certainly fit the bill.

Stay tuned for more ideas for spring.  Check in on Bob’s Facebook page for all of your Mackie updates. Please continue to show us your Mackie by posting a photo. You can follow Bob on Twitter (@bobmackie) as well. It was great to get all of your comments from when Bob was at FIT. Mark your calendars…Bob’s next visit to QVC is Monday, April 2nd at 4 a.m. ET. Until then, you can shop for his complete Wearable Art collection anytime on QVC.com.

Best,

Margaux
