Exciting Times for Shoe Shopping with Jane!

It's no secret that Shoe Shopping has become one of my favorite times to spend with you. But unlike other shows that have months of planning and brainstorming sessions that mold the look of the show, this one came about in a gentler way. We started the show a few years back because of the popularity of the online page of the same name. Little by little, we saw more shows on the air and now we have the luxury of seeing it several times a month. But now that we are "established," we realized the show didn't have a look that was consistent on-air and online. So our brilliant design team met with me and in the very first meeting captured what I love about shopping for shoes with you. Our logo is new, and to me it represents an "updated-retro" style we both love. You'll see the logo on qvc.com as well as on air.

Then we realized we didn't have any photos to complement our new look, so a few weeks back we scheduled a photo shoot. It was a blast! I was running late that day, and threw on a M by Marc Bouwer jacket and Joan Rivers scarf just to run into work. My wonderful friend Eva did my hair and makeup, and I trekked back to the photo studio with about half my closet in hand to pick what to wear for the shoot. The director took one look at my outfit and said, "Let's start with what you have on now!" (I thought, Wow, spent hours picking clothes and we go with something I threw on at the last minute!) Having a photo shoot is so much fun, and instead of posing they asked me to talk, so the whole time I just blabbed about the show and our love of shoes as the camera clicked away!

But all of this leads up to why we love to shop together. First, we're women and we have a genetic link to shoes, so embrace it! Second, the show looks different from any other shoe show because I want to give you the ultimate shoe shopping experience. Shopping for shoes can be frustrating, but as this show evolves we are adding more fit information and more sizes and widths so the experience can be fun and rewarding for every woman! I was at the beach and saw a sign that sums up what I want this show to be: "I got tired shopping so I sat down and tried on shoes." Hope you "sit" with me and shop for shoes whenever Shoe Shopping with Jane is on!

See you soon—
