A: Black.

A: PRINT!

A: What's the difference?

A: Depends on the occasion. But there's always room for both.
Q: Silk or Cashmere?
A: Hmmm….can't I have both?
Q: Favorite Fashion Decade?
A: 1940s.
Q: Least Favorite Fashion Decade?
A: I don't think I have one. Every decade has something amazing to inspire.
Q: Single Best Accessory?
A: Bangle bracelets. One looks great, or you can wear them my favorite way…stacked! Bangles are timeless and always fashionable. I've collected mine over the years and each one tells a story.
Q: Proudest Moment?
A: My first cover of Women's Wear Daily.
Q: Most Embarrassing Moment?
A: I was walking into my 7th grade English class feeling so fashionable in my fabulous, full, floor-length peasant skirt (that I just made for myself), when a big gust of wind shot through the classroom, blowing my skirt over my head, trapping me into exposing myself in front of my entire class. Thank goodness it was before YouTube and cell phone cameras! I still laugh about that to this day.
Q: Favorite Food?
A: Mexican street food.
Q: Latest Obsession?
A: It's an ongoing obsession…Frances Elkins, interiors.
Q: Pet Peeve?
A: People (including me) say "like” much too often.
Q: Biggest Weakness?
A: Considering all sides.
Q: Favorite Place?
A: Besides being home (and under a decadent blanket fort with my daughter), I want to be in Tulum, Mexico under a grass hut.
Q: Favorite Movie?
A: Do I really have to pick just one? The Philadelphia Story is my first and all-time fave.
Q: You’re Dying to Work with…
A: Grace Coddington.
Q: Happiest Purchase in the Last Month?
A: My antique bamboo and silver bangle bracelet purchased in an antique store in Shanghai!
Q: Motto You Live by…
A: "Right here right now." It keeps me present and centered.
