As a designer, showing a collection at Fashion Week in New York City is a dream come true. I spent the first fifteen years of my career learning the art of fashion design from one of the most respected couturiers of the 20th century. For the last ten years I have been establishing my own name in the fashion industry, dressing everyone from Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry to Sophia Loren and Elizabeth Taylor. Now, to be able to launch my first ready to wear collection with QVC at Fashion Week 2012, a new chapter in my career begins and I thank you wholeheartedly for this opportunity.

The pieces I designed for Fashion Week 2012 reflect the influences and education I have had throughout my career. Two of my favorites are reinterpretations of pieces I designed for my private couture clients. I’ve been able to reproduce this ombre caftan with grosgrain belt for you with the unique ombre coloring so many of my clients love.

The material is strikingly similar to the fabric that I used on the original couture piece; so delicate and sheer to create a beautiful shape and movement. You can dress this versatile piece up for an evening out or even wear it poolside as an elegant cover-up.

My rock and crystal embellished tunic with uneven hem has also been created to reflect the couture designs of my private clients.

Again, I was fortunate enough to find a material that provides a beautiful shape to compliment every woman’s body. The cut of both the sleeves and hem, coupled with the light weight of the stone embellishment, provides a beautiful drape on the arm and body to create an elegant movement to the piece.

I couldn’t be more honored to be showing these pieces at Fashion Week 2012 with QVC.
