How to stay warm and, of course, chic!

Happy New Year to all of the LCNY fashionistas!  I hope your holiday and New Year’s Eve celebrations were filled with friends, family and, of course, great shopping.  Now that the decorations are down, the kids are back in school, and you are caught up on the wash and food shopping, might I make a few suggestions to start the new year off right?

It is time to hunker down for most of us; some bone chilling weather soon will be coming.  Here in West Chester, it has been amazingly mild.  However, there is cold in the air  and, hopefully, snow in the forecast.  I am of course excited to start wearing all of the winter sweaters and accessories and pull together some simply chic styles.  Lets refer to the next couple of months as: How to stay warm and, of course, chic!

My suggestion would be a cute, comfortable coat such as our Liz Claiborne New York Cavalry Twill Wool Blend Peacoat (A217694), which is available in a choice of rich colors.  Do not shy away from color.  You will look radiant when the snow is falling.  I had a meeting today with our QVC team, and I wore this coat. I had the Emerald Green choice.  It’s a beautiful, deep shade of green.  You might even say it looks more like a dark olive or hunter shade.  Anyway, it looked wonderful.  Rich, deep colors are such a great alternative to black when you want to freshen up your look but still look sophisticated.  Plus, the eye-catching and unique raised-texture fabric is over 30% wool, and the relaxed fit is flattering for all body types.

We also have great cold weather accessories, such as our Liz Claiborne New York Leather Gloves with Clover Logo (A220573).  They are a must for driving and keeping your hands warm, and they will go with any coat.   Also, let’s not forget our beautiful heads that need to be kept warm and our hair that needs to be kept under control on those cold, windy days.  I suggest our fedoras!!  One size fits all, and they are so easy to wear. Check out the Liz Claiborne New York Wool Bow Tie Fedora Hat (A211225).  Talk about instant attitude.

Well, fashion does not stop at the end of the day.  Let’s also look great going in to the evening.  Like most of us working women out there, the day does not end until our heads hit the pillow.  Now is the time to get warm and cozy no matter where your evening takes you.  The Liz Claiborne New York Rose Printed Microfleece 2 Piece PJ Set (A216679) is a great addition to your evening apparel you can unwind in.  If you are staying in, great.  If not, it’s easy to slip in the car with these pajamas if you need drive somewhere.  Lastly, do not forget about your feet.  Liz Claiborne New York Cable Knit Set of 2 Cozy Socks (A211867) will keep your toes warm as you are cleaning up after dinner or sitting down to hours of homework.  We have you covered for the winter months at LCNY, so let's stay warm and chic.
