Now that we are into the holiday season and many of you are or will be baking cookies, I wanted to share the recipe for one of my favorite cookies with you:
Tea Cakes
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2-1/2 cups flour
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup chopped nuts
Directions: Cream butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into 1-inch balls. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet until set, but not brown. While warm, roll in powdered sugar; cool and roll again.
Also, Quacker Factory will be having their Second Annual Cookie Exchange show on Wednesday, December 7th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. ET! I will be hosting the show with Angel. It will be a live studio audience show, and we have lots of fun things and a few surprises planned! Be sure to tune in! Click HERE to visit the Quacker Factory Cookie Exchange page and share your favorite cookie recipe with us and fellow bakers and find new recipes to try this year!
Counting our Blessings,
Mary Beth Roe
