Mackinistas, my pick for today in my Holiday Shopping for the Mackinista is Bob Mackie’s Fleece Zip Front Loungewear (A94930).

When I get home on these chilling days after a long day of work, the first thing I do is get right into my fleece robe.  In a word: LOVE.  It’s like having your favorite blanket wrapped around you.  The only difference is that you don’t have to hold it up, it fits perfect to your body, and it looks gorgeous.  Have you ever watched those classic movies with some of the glamorous actresses of the day when they are sitting at home in their living room having a cocktail?  Come to think of it, you never really see them with screaming kids or doing the laundry like you see in my house, but who cares?  Let’s look dynamite while doing anything and drink up the warm, cozy fleece.

Here I am with Coco and Ian for our morning breakfast routine.  I live in my robe.  Take a look at the fit.  The beautiful princess seaming creates a great shape so you have roominess, but not bulkiness.  The mandarin collar is just the right amount to snuggle the neckline as well.

On this close up shot of the blush color, you can see the embroidered detail that adds the perfect amount of femininity.  My favorite feature:  the zip front!  Up until I got my Bob Mackie fleece robe, I was wearing a robe that had a waist tie front.  I never knew what I was missing.  Oh the convenience and the feel!  I know I sound like I am in love, but you won’t know until you try it…So do it!  And by the way, it’s another GREAT gift idea.  A robe is something that we tend to keep way too long, like bed pillows and bathmats.  Give someone the gift of a new robe…something they may not buy for themselves.
