The Journey Continues- My first time on-air, the QVC family, and my daughter's first dance

What a rush!


Well, it’s been almost two weeks since my debut on The Q…and I think I’m only now coming down off of the adrenaline!  Two hours never flew by so fast. I was absolutely overwhelmed by all of the sweet words of welcome and encouragement that came in from across the country via Facebook, Twitter  and right here on QVC.com. And of course, having my mentor Antonella and Dan Wheeler at my side throughout the show made it feel  like a family reunion rather than work!


Since my first blog I’ve logged many hours of rehearsals under the guidance of Mary Beth Roe (she has the patience of a saint!) and am learning more about the amazing extended family here at QVC…it seems like every day something new and exciting is happening in our building! I’ve taken a few snapshots along the way and am sharing a few with you here.


In the meantime I’m counting down the hours until my next visit with you! Could Monday, November 21st come soon enough?! If you’re near a TV or our website from 9am-12pm tune in while we celebrate a full day of “What a Girl Wants!” Although I have to admit three hours could never cover the wish list I’m building on qvc.com…have you built yours? What’s at the top of your list?


Oh, and this football fan cannot wait to join Dan Wheeler on Thanksgiving Day 12am-2pm and 10am-12pm during “NFL Shop!” I promise to sneak in bites of turkey and dressing between my times on-air and not live ;-)


On a personal note, please wish me luck as I take Gabby (my nearly 12-year-old) to her first school dance tonight. I swear it seems like yesterday she was toddling around!! Don’t tell her that…


I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful start to your holiday season…I’ve so much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving I don’t even know where to begin. So I’ll just begin by wishing you all of the joy and love you can ever hope for this year, and beyond.
