Hi and happy (almost) Thanksgiving! I have to say this is one of my favorite times of year. The last leaves are still floating down from the tree branches, people are making travel plans to see friends and family, and holiday menus are being discussed over the phone, email, and even in my blog! :-)

If I could have my favorite Thanksgiving dishes all year round, I think I’d be the happiest girl in the world! Pumpkin pie, in my opinion, is even better the next day as a breakfast dish or a late-night snack! On last weeks’ episode Isaac and Shawn got into a discussion of Thanksgiving dishes and he revealed that apple pie was his overall winner for a Thanksgiving sweet. With ice cream, of course! I’m not opposed to this as there usually tends to be a member or members of your family who is not a pumpkin fan.
