Well, it's official....the chilly willy weather is upon us in many parts of the country! At our house in PA, we have a large wood-burning fireplace in the family room which keeps things nice and toasty, but BRRRRRR is it cold when I have to go outside to fetch more wood when the log basket runs out!! It's times like those, or when I'm walking my 8 wonderful doggies, or raking leaves, or heading down the long driveway to the mailbox, or taking a big pail of water out to the fenced-in yard where my pet geese have their little house and pond, or sitting at my grandsons' football games, or just running errands in the car...those are the times that I LOVE my Denim and Company FLEECE!!
I'm a huge fan of our fleece and Sherpa-lined jackets, coats, big shirts and sweatshirts for keeping me warm without adding alot of bulky layers...and they look so cute and fashionable too! When I'm playing fetch with my dogs in the yard and they jump up and put little muddy paw prints on my pretty fleece jacket, I love that I can simply toss it in the washer and dryer and it will come out looking just like new! (The bonus is getting it right out of the dryer and putting it back on to head outside, while it's still toasty warm!) Honestly, I probably wash my Denim and Company fleece jackets twice a week, and they still look incredibly good. I have several different styles of our fleece and sherpa coats and jackets...and there is always one hanging near the back door to easily grab when I need to dash outside. (I have been known to put one on over my PJ's, along with my Uggs and a knit cap, for those early morning jaunts outside with the pups! Probably not the most fashionable ensemble, but at least I'm warm!!)
I've also given many Denim and Company fleece items as holiday gifts, and they are always a big hit! With so many great colors and styles, there are lots of choices for the ladies on my list! As always, your feedback is so appreciated, and I'd love to hear about your fleece and sherpa favorites, as well as something that you'd love to see us offer that you've been wishing for!
