Have you ever had one of “those” weeks? I’m going to assume the unanimous response is “yes” or I will stop writing right now and jump off the nearest bridge. This past week was definitely one of those for me. The entire week, my general blah-ness permeated every fabric of my life. Typically, I love writing my blogs and am already formulating ideas long before they’re due. Not this week. This week, I found myself staring at the computer screen vainly hoping coherent sentences would magically appear.

By Sunday morning, I said to myself, “enough is enough” and sprung out of bed with a determination to turn my mood around. (The small pizza and chocolate chip cookies I consumed the night before may have had something to do with this sudden switch, but who knows?) So here I am tackling my blog with a new attitude and thinking outside of the box. Instead of writing from my own point of view, I’m imagining different scenarios where I can give these fun and practical Bare Traps Water-resistant Suede Boots with Faux Fur & Buckle Detail as gifts this holiday season.

For instance, my niece started her first year of high school in September. The perennial tomboy, she's now spending hours on her hair and makeup each morning. What about my best friend? She’s a busy mom with two vibrant young boys; her days are spent running here and there after them. She likes to wear the latest styles, though she can’t spend as much time shopping as she used to. When I think of giving these Bare Traps boots to my niece, my mom, or my best friend, one common thread links the scenarios together — when I picture each opening the gift box, I can see the smiles light up their faces. That thought chases my blahs away!
