Baby, It’s Cold Outside!

I can’t believe I’m sharing this long-kept secret of mine on this blog… but I have to admit I am a bit of a Christmas music junkie! In fact, I’m so bad that on my train ride home from taping IsaacMizrahiLive! on Halloween, I may or may not have let a few holiday songs slip into my iPod playlist. It was November 1st after all!


This week as we take down spider webs and throw carved pumpkins into the compost, we are gearing up for one of my favorite times of year. When I think of late autumn, I think of my love for cozy sweaters in deep hues, and a layered look that is so chic!


Even if you are not cranking the Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby just yet, fall fashion and cooler weather are something everyone can get behind.


Last week on IML! I wore these jeggings (A210399) in dark indigo. I love leggings for fall with a big plush sweater or cute tunic-length top. But even better is the jegging. With a faux fly, cute faux button, and real pockets – I’m able to make the look seem a little dressier and thus more pulled together!


One of the nicest things about the cooler weather is breaking out the cozy sweaters you haven’t worn since March. I feel so lucky to be able to work with Isaac and to get a fashion icon’s take on one of my favorite wardrobe staples:  cashmere. According to Isaac – “There is nothing more luxurious to me than the perfect cashmere sweater.” I couldn’t agree more! Every time I put on my cable knit fisherman sweater (A188367) in heather grey I feel like I am treating myself. In a recent design meeting it was revealed that other people love this cashmere sweater as much as I do! Which is why the Isaac M. team is so thrilled to present a brand new rich hue for fall – Eggplant! It is gorgeous and cozy at the same time – look for it this Saturday at 8am on AM Style with Leah Williams for its stunning debut.
