Fun Times After Work!

Hi everyone! So excited to tell you about the last couple weeks. I went to QVC's FFANY Shoes on Sale event at the Waldorf Astoria. It was a great event to bring Breast Cancer Awareness and to collect donations which will be distributed to various cancer research foundations to help find a cure. FFANY shoes on sale has distributed over $35 million and sold over 1.5 million pairs of shoes to benefit breast cancer research and educational programs. Susan could not make it to the event so I took my good friend Kyla, we write a blog together so we figured this would be a great blogging opportunity. We walked in to the gorgeous hotel and took the elevator up to floor three where we were welcomed with a room filled with gorgeous shoes... We must have tried on every pair. I could not keep my hands off a pair of Rachel Zoe thigh high boots. After cocktail hour and shoe shopping we entered into a huge room where dinner was served. It was a gorgeous setting with beautiful chandeliers. We heard speeches from the founder of the Susan G. Kormen for the Cure, Nancy G. Brinker, and Timothy J. O'Donovan. After dinner, we were taken into another room that was called "Club FFANY" where there was dancing, desserts, and drinks...

Last weekend, Courtney Cason invited me to a haunted house called The Bates Motel. I am not the biggest fan of scary anything, but I figured I couldn’t turn down a trip to the #1 haunted house in America. We went with a group of friends and ended up having a fabulous time, first we walked through the motel, then took a scary hayride. This would have been a great opportunity to wear my new Susan Graver Fleece.

Also, while I am always in Pennsylvania, I never take the opportunity to visit Philadelphia. Since I had some free time during the day I decided to take a visit to the Liberty Bell and try Jim’s famous Philly Cheesesteak it was delicious!
