Fall Temptations

Hi PM Style ladies! How are you this fine evening? It's Thursday night and I've just finished my dinner and thought I would sit down and write to you. I had such a great time during Monday's PM Style show. My goodness, between the boots, the bag, the cape, the tights, and the faux fur, I could've bought half the show. I thought the lineup was just fab, and of course, it very well should be considering it was Fashion Day! I hope you enjoyed the show and the day as much as I did.

I know it's only halfway through October, but I keep telling myself I don't need any more clothes this season, so Monday's show was tough on me. We brought out all of our fall clothes the other day and put the summer pieces away, and I realized I have plenty of fashion to choose from. I think as you get older and start to figure out your style, you end up with pieces that really last a long time. That doesn't mean we can't buy more handbags, shoes, and jewelry. What, I said I was done with clothes, not accessories!

Will you be watching the show this Monday? Just want to warn you that the show is only two hours long. We will start at our usual time but end an hour early. Don't worry, it's not a permanent situation, just for the night.

Hope you had a good week. Last weekend Steve and I went to an apple and pumpkin orchard and we had the yummiest apple cider donuts ever. They had a sugar crust on the outside and were so warm and soft on the inside. Great, now I'm craving one after that sentence. Afterwards, we went to a winery for lunch that had live music. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the music was nice and relaxing. I love eating outside, so when the weather makes a turn, I'm going to be quite sad. Work-wise, the week was nice, too. I got to work with Louis Dell'Olio on customer favorite day, and tonight when I go in, Lori Goldstein and Michael Dawkins await. My weekend shows are all about pajamas, as I'm meeting up with Carole Hochman and Stan Herman. Then on Sunday, my sister and brother-in-law are coming to town. I think we're making our way into Philly to hang out. Not sure what we will do there yet, but I've been wanting to walk a museum, so maybe I can talk everyone else into feeling the same way.

Whatever you get into this week, I hope it's enjoyable. I'll see you Monday, which by the way is probably the day you are reading this, so technically, I'll see you tonight. If you don't read this until after Monday, hope you liked the show.

See you soon,

Amy Stran
