Labor Day weekend is the unofficial last weekend of summer.  And while the last few weeks of summer were a little crazy here in Pennsylvania: an earthquake, a hurricane, the wettest August on record; we still seem to want just a few more weekends!! 

Well, I really don’t!!  I am excited for fall!!  I love fall fashion, and I cannot wait for QVC’s Fashion Week events this weekend!!  I am tired of being HOT! I want to wear long sleeves and pants, opaque tights, and boots!  Bring it all on!  Actually, today I just ordered new boots for fall. I cannot wait to get them in the mail!!  Oh, and wait till you see the NEW fall items we have for you from Quacker Factory!!  We will have some luscious velvet items, a new take on one of your favorite sweaters, and some really great essential wardrobe additions.  We have lots to show you!

Fall is my favorite time of the year because I love to bake, and it is way too hot in the summer to do that.  As a matter of fact, since it is cold and rainy here today, I just baked a few loaves of banana bread for a meeting we have at QVC this week.  In the summer, I don’t even want to cook if I can avoid it. 

I also love to decorate my house for the fall and for Halloween!!  I saw some cute Bethlehem Lights fall decorations today. Once I dig out my decorations, I may have to browse more of the collection on QVC.com. 

And I am sure that you parents are ready for your kids to go back to school!!

So I want to hear from you….What is your favorite thing about fall?  Do you have any fun ideas to share with me?  I would love to hear some of them before my next few shows.
