Dear Friends,

It has been a hectic last week of August and a really busy beginning of September!  Last week, I shot an ad for QVC’s "25 to Watch" campaign which will be featured in the November issue of Vogue magazine.  It really was amazing!  The theme is centered around the holidays, so I decorated my dining room for Christmas dinner and had "Christmas In August."  It really was a lot of fun!  Everyone on the shoot was just amazing!  Howard, from QVC's creative team is just an incredibly talented man and every time we work together it always seems to be magic.  Jason was the genius photographer who shot the ad and what a talent!  And, of course, the whole QVC team added to the final look of what will be in Vogue.  Check out a few of the behind-the-scenes photos! (And don’t worry, the Christmas dinner did not go to waste.  The next night we invited friends over, put on the Christmas carols and turned the air conditioning way down!)

As soon as that was over, I moved right into getting ready for Fashion’s Night Out.  The whole fashion industry is full speed ahead about Fashions Night Out including QVC which will have a live broadcast and party from NYC.  In my store on Madison Ave., we will be hosting a party along with all of the other designers on the avenue.  If any of you are in and around my area please stop in for a drink and to say ‘Hi.’  This special night brings everyone involved in fashion together to create an unbelievable "shopping party" throughout the city!  We expect well over 200 friends, new and old, to stop by.  The very next day my dear friend Joan Rivers and I are doing a photo shoot together for another major fashion magazine which we will reveal at a later date!! 

NY Fashion Week begins with QVC going live from NYC that evening!  I will be in that show with five new fashion forward designs that you are all going to just love including a gorgeous dress, two fab Basso faux furs, a chic-as-it-gets cloth coat and the most beautiful fabric jacket I think I have ever designed!!  Not to mention all the other beautiful fashions by all the other designers....It’s sure to be a special New York night coming right into your home via QVC. 

A few days later I will be showing my couture to collection to all the major fashion editors along with some of the most important specialty stores from around the world!  In the world of fashion everything is always changing and I am right there to bring you what's new fresh and exciting!  Right after Fashion Week, I'm off to Germany and the UK to do shows for QVC over there and then back on-the-air at QVC at the end of September.  I think I'll need a little rest in-between.
