Let me tell you why I LOVE my job here at the Q.  I was in for a meeting this week that would set the tone for our Fall Fashion Day unveiling (stay tuned, it's coming very soon!!) and bring clarity on all the hottest trends coming out of the Fashion meccas around the world....you know: Paris, London, Milan and actually, Amsterdam btw.....we really do stay on top of the trends to always bring you the very best.  Now, for years I've been very much about being inclusive in my approach to Fashion/Image/Styling.  I don't know, maybe somewhere in my background I felt EXcluded a time or two, and I've never wanted anyone, as far as it was up to me, to feel like that.  I want every woman to feel beautiful.  For years I've styled beautiful women; women of every shape and size (Size?  What IS that crazy illusion, anyway?);  tall and willowy, short and full figured, bodacious, curvaceous, teeny-tiny, you name it.  It's one of the reasons I fit into QVC's culture.  But, I've been reading articles for a couple of years now that suggest that the broader world of Fashion is finally getting it, too! (Welcome to the REAL world).  Being sky-high and gaunt is not what the majority of the world, not just in this century, but for hundreds of centuries, has called womanly OR beautiful.

We've been so ahead of the pack on this one; QVC, Effortless Style and its inclusive silhouettes and drapy fabrics... I'm just so proud to say it!

*But, for a little decoding, here's an idea that I'd encourage you each to try:  stand in front of the mirror and look at yourself - really look at yourself -  and smile with gratitude.

You were created to be lovely.  Be lovely.
