How I Spent My Summer Vacation

DAVID: Before we blog a single word, I have to ask you about your week in London with Prince Charles!

JOAN: I must admit, it was pretty glamorous. I attended dinners at both Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. I brought my good girlfriend, Kathy Griffin, along and we had a fantastic time.

The famous French jeweler, Chopard, lent me (hold on to your hat) $9 million worth of diamonds to wear! As I always do, you know I mixed in some things from the Joan Rivers Classics Collection®.

DAVID: Sounds fantastic! And Melissa tells me you're going back to Europe for a very special vacation trip with Cooper. Tell all of our readers what you're doing.

JOAN: First off, I’ll be spending July 4th weekend with Melissa and Cooper in Los Angeles. Immediately after that, I'm meeting you at QVC on July 6th and 7th for three style-packed shows with Rick and Jane.

DAVID: And by the way, we're debuting our newest tailored button-front shirt (A216448). It features crisp tailoring and for the first time ever, the shirt comes with a matching sash belt! I love the fabric we selected — it has the look of expensive Italian dupioni silk.

JOAN: I'm living in this shirt! I’m bringing it in every color to LA and I just LOVE it. It comes with me to London and Paris (so you know it’s just as chic as it can be)!

DAVID: And l love that we're making a matching fabric flower out of the same material. Now that’s a chic look for summer. Just add a cropped pair of pants and you’re all set.

JOAN: Right after we finish at QVC, Cooper and I are jumping on a plane and spending 10 glorious days in London and Paris. I’ve pulled out all the stops and we're going to have a grand time. London first, and then we're taking the high-speed train to Paris.

DAVID: And can I mention what an awesome grandmother you are? Cooper is one lucky little boy!
