The polka dot has been an ongoing trend since the fifties. The trend was first associated with wholesome fare such as Minnie Mouse skirts and retro dresses. Throughout the years the dot trend has evolved into a contemporary look. In fact, the polka dot brought my mom on the fashion map 30 years ago with her dot skort and dot shell top. The polka dot now comes in all shapes and forms, big, small, spaced, and scattered. You can understand and appreciate how everything old is new again with this dot trend. Dots are a graphic statement print and feels like a happy print.
