I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for a wonderful Today’s Special Value day! Seemed like you liked the soft footbed option we offered!


Thank you for your comments and suggestion on our blog. It’s great to receive feedback directly from our customers. Know that we consider and evaluate everything you say. That being said, I thought I would take a moment to address some questions that I received.


Birkenstock Collections fans “Rcfan” and “Penthe” have requested we offer our wide width on QVC. We have been considering this for quite some time and are working on it. For instant gratification, check out QVC.com. Birkenstock Double-strap Adjustable Comfort Sandals (A151921) are offered in extended sizing and both widths. Plus, all of our thong and toe-loop styles are offered in the wider width. I'll also make a conscious effort to call out width information during shows.


“Banjo” has requested we bring some backstrap sandals with cute prints to QVC. We do have some backstrap sandals coming up later in the summer, but most of them are on the tame side. QVC.com does have the following items that could work: Birki's New Passion-print Backstrap Soft Footbed Sandals (A200415) and Birki's Textured-print Triple-strap Sandals with Backstrap (A200360). I’ll make a point to revisit the idea for next year.


Many of you like “echoscream” are looking to replace a pair that you just LOVE. In her case, she is on the hunt for a three-strap sandal in a denim-type material. On many occasions it's tough for us to revisit the exact item, but we might have the opportunity to create an updated version. Papillio Weave-print Curved-strap Adjustable Buckle Sandal (A213508) could be a possibility.


“faeriemoon2” did not like the look of our two-toned soft base sole. Not to worry. Although we'll be using this new more-flexible sole more often, it will not be the only sole we use. There will be plenty of options in our traditional sole.
