One Busy Week for Joan!

DAVID:


Joan, you’ve certainly had a busy week! Talk to me about what is going on in your world. I see that you taped an episode of next season’s Celebrity Apprentice.

JOAN:


I am sworn to secrecy, NO COMMENT! It was wonderful to see my good friend Donald (I refuse to call him THE Donald!)


DAVID:
I know you’ve been in London and Los Angeles. How is my favorite TV show, Fashion Police on E! Entertainment Channel?


JOAN:


I am having the time of my life hosting that show! Missy is the Executive Producer, so I get a triple treat: talking fashion and dishing about celebrities and working with my daughter!


DAVID:


Well, she’s doing a great job; the show is a big hit and so much fun to watch. Every week you manage to throw in a few zingers that make me laugh so hard, my face actually hurts! At the same, I’m also getting some great fashion and trend advice.


JOAN:


The fashion coverage is probably my favorite part of the show. This week we talked about big trends that are happening right now:


Thigh high boots (calm down, not for me!)… Serpent themed jewelry and accessories (now we’re talking my language!)… crazy hair extensions… the new “pixie” haircut that all the young starlets are wearing... the list went on and on.


DAVID:


Speaking of serpent themed jewelry, how much do you love our new pave snake bracelet??

I want it right now! This bracelet will be perfect for the Red Carpet ! I know our ladies will love it. Let’s make sure to include it in our live shows that we are doing from Los Angeles over Oscar weekend.


DAVID:


I agree. We already have some fantastic items for these shows, including our hot new Hollywood-inspired sunglasses with a pave accent and our new turquoise necklace that you found in London. 


JOAN:


By the way David, EVERYONE at Fashion Police this week went crazy over our new metallic strap watch. I wore the gunmetal color to rehearsal yesterday and every woman on the set wants one!

It’s one of our best watches in years. I love how we married the hot python trend to the hot metallic trend! That watch debuts this Thursday in your show with Jane Traecy at 7PM EST!! Both of our shows on Thursday are packed with wonderful new things and great gift ideas.


JOAN:

What are your Thanksgiving plans this year Joan?


JOAN:


Every year Melissa and Cooper fly east and we volunteer at God’s Love We Deliver, my most important charity, delivering meals.


We then have dinner at home in New York and afterward we head to Connecticut for the weekend.  This year I have a big surprise, but you will have to check next week’s blog to find out what it is!


DAVID:


You’re bad! Give us just one little hint!


JOAN:


Let’s just say it involves a float and some giant balloons……


DAVID:


Whatever Joan’s big surprise is, I promise to have lots of pictures and a full report next week!
