Q: Is this compatible with all cell phones? A: It is compatible with all cell phones that come with a USB connector cable. 


Q: How do you charge an iPhone® 5, 5C, or 5S with this charger? A: To charge your iPhone® 5, 5C or 5S, you can use the Apple® Lightning cable that came with your phone. You can also purchase a set of 2 lightning cables from QVC (Item Number E225218).


Q: How do you charge this unit? A: Charge the HALO 3,000 mAh portable charger using the supplied Charge It Charge Me™ cable, which has a USB connector on either end. Plug one USB connector into the HALO charger and plug the other USB connector into a computer or an AC power source with a USB 5V input.


Q: How do I charge it if I don't have a computer? A: The HALO 3,000 mAh portable charger comes with a USB wall adapter that lets the user charge the HALO charger through an AC power source.


Q: Can this be charged with an Apple® Computer? A: Yes.


Q: Will it work in Europe? A:  The HALO 3,000 mAh portable charger will charge your device on the go. To recharge the HALO StarLight 3000 itself, you can do so from a laptop, using the supplied Charge It Charge Me™ cable, or to charge from a wall outlet, you will need to use an international adapter.


Q: How long does it take to charge this device? A: The HALO StarLight 3000 takes an average of five to six hours to receive a full charge.


Q: How long does the device hold a charge? A: If you are storing the HALO 3,000 mAh portable charger for emergencies and do not use it, it will hold a charge for approximately six months.


Q: What are the dimensions? A: 4-1/8" x 7/8" x 7/8"


Q: How many times can it charge my device before I have to recharge the HALO itself? A: This varies based on the type of device you are charging with your HALO 3,000 mAh portable charger.


Q: How many times can you recharge the HALO? A: Over 1,000 times.


Q: Can it charge a GPS? A:  The HALO 3,000 mAh portable charger will charge GPS units, as long as the GPS unit is compatible with the included micro USB tip or has a standard USB input.


Q: Will it charge older, non-smart, phones? A: Yes, it will, as long as the user's phone has a charging connection that is compatible with the provided tips or they have a connector cable with a standard USB connection.


Q: Will this charge an Android phone, such as a Droid Maxx? A: Yes.


Q: Will it charge a Nintendo 3DS? A: If your device uses a USB connector cable, the HALO 3,000 mAh portable charger will charge a Nintendo 3DS. The provided cable will charge certain handheld gaming devices but does not cover all versions on the market. If it does not work with your gaming device, you can use the USB connector cable that came with your game to charge.


Q: Does it charge a laptop computer? A: No.


Q: Will this charge tablets, including different versions of the iPad®? A: For the majority of tablets, it will provide a small, partial power charge (up to 10%) using the provided cable and tips, including iPad® Gen 1-3 (using 30-pin tip) and the Nook/Nook HD (using micro USB tip). If you have an iPad® Gen 4 or iPad Mini™, you must use the USB-to-Lightning cable that came with your iPad®. You can also purchase a Lightning adapter tip from QVC, which is sold separately from the HALO 3,000 mAh portable charger. To charge Samsung tablets, use the cable that came with your tablet.


Q: Will the indicator light let me know when my device is fully charged? A: Yes, the indicator light will turn solid green when the charger is fully charged.


Q: What do the lights on the HALO charger mean? A: The lights indicate the amount of battery life remaining on the HALO charger. Red (1%-33%), orange (34%-66%) and green (67%-99%).


Q: Are you able to make phone calls while your phone is charging on the HALO? A: Yes.


Q: Does this meet TSA guidelines for air travel? A: Yes.


Q: Is the battery user replaceable? A: No, the battery is a rechargeable battery, integrated into the unit and unable to be removed or replaced.


Q: Can the battery be replaced by the manufacturer? A: If the battery on your HALO no longer works, please contact customer service at (888) 907-6274 and they will assist in resolving.


Q: Does your device need to be completely dead before recharging? A: No, you can recharge it at any point.
