That is mainly used for charging the Halo's. I am usually sitting in my recliner, so I often charge my Tracfone through my laptop. I have mine docked on the bedside table. That is the only way I charge my Ipad and I use it before I go to sleep and when I wake up. I use it in the kitchen when I am cooking and baking and am using all the wonderful recipes available on the Internet which makes for very good viewing from the stand. I have it in the leopard which is so sheik! It is light weight and very easy to use as your Ipad just slides in, clicks and is then charging. I would definitely recommend this product to enhance the ease of using your Ipad.
