What’s Your Favorite Gadget?

Hey everyone! It’s Your Tech Guy here, and before I start delivering regular blogs on what’s new in the world of electronics, I want to get a feel for the members of the QVC Community.

Technology is a part of all of our lives. Many jobs require near-constant computer use, some people pay their bills over the internet, and it takes a minor in Computer Engineering to figure out how to work a surround sound system. Still, there are a lot of gadgets we all use in our day-to-day life that aren’t, necessarily, technically important. Still, they’re important to us, aren’t they?

And that’s what I want to talk about: the electronic gadget that you couldn’t live without (but, really, you totally could).

For instance, I can’t go ten seconds without reaching for my Smartphone.  Sure, I would be fine with a regular flip phone, and I would likely get along well without having a cell phone at all. That said, it’s my lifeline, and I need to check on my friends, family, and read up on the latest news constantly. Without it, I’m lost.

It’s the same with the GPS in my car. Without it, I’m lost (literally), and I get nervous whenever I need to drive anywhere new. People drove for nearly a century without having a digital voice telling them to turn left, but now that I have it I don’t know if I could live without it. The same could be said about half of the tools in my kitchen, my electric toothbrush, and a dozen of other pieces of technology that would more accurately be described as a “gadget.”

So, What about you? What’s your favorite gadget?
