From the runway to the runway

It's the place to be when September hits! Its hot ! Its exciting! Its New York’s fashion week! Where else can you see it all? The tall, and the beautiful, rocking the hottest fashion trends on earth.  As I take a drive down the west side highway towards downtown I am thinking what kind of mayhem am I heading into?  Finally I arrived.  When I got out of the taxi I see it!  Cameras flashing… Super models…WOW!  I started walking through the crowds of people just looking.  I am in complete awe.  There it is!  I can see it!  Q.  As I walk up to the QVC party I am immediately asked to step to the side.  The doors fly open as the cameras film.  Two super tall models dressed in black open the doors.  I just stared in total amazement!  Inside I could see so many great things happening.  Lisa Robertson live with Heidi on air.  Book signings… It was all happening right in front of me.


I had just returned from another style trip to the orient.  I had been in only Hong Kong this trip.  My roots, where it all happens!  The buzz seemed to be “LONDON IS CALLING” British inspired black and white looks seem to be it. Oversized and layering. Watches seem to be getting bigger for women if you can believe it. Long chains with big medallions, Gothic symbols are really in. “Preppy Chic” seems to be the vibe.


……. And with all this happening I am so thrilled with the new launching of my brand David English Boutique for Diamonique on QVC.  In my boutique I am bringing all the latest trends from Hollywood and the runways.  My designs are a combination of fashion fantasy, and fun.  Any of my designs will make feel like you are part of the “in” crowd, and for sure they will be conversation pieces when you wear them.  From the Royal flying English bull dog charm, the adorable ballerina pig charm, the flying pig earrings to the legacy skull rings, the angel wing rings and pendant charms, I am sure you will be charmed and I hope you will fall in love with this collection.


My first premiere show will be Sept 28th at 1 am EST. 10 pm Pacific.

My style as a designer is all about wearing things that make you feel youthful and just having fun while you do it.
