Hi Everyone,

Fashion week is over and it is always a relief as so much work and time goes into the preparation. It began with a fabulous party and runway show that QVC hosted in New York City that was just amazing! It was filled with celebrities such as the Olsen Twins and Maria Menounos along with all of the fashion press and many of the Q's designers - A real NY evening. I was so excited to have many of my designs in the show. Usually, with my Luxury shows, I'm backstage, so it was a real treat to sit in the audience and watch from the front row!

The next two nights, as many of you know, were the shows with the fab Lisa Robertson and Sandra Bennett live from New York! It was great! I always love when I bring new designs to all of you and they are so well received.

The next three days I was in fittings, make-up and hair try outs, model selection and the list goes on and on. In the end, over one hundred people work on my fashion show that lasts on the runway about 15 minutes!! With over 1,000 guests coming to Lincoln Center it was just amazing! We had a fantastic front row that included Joan Rivers (who was at my first show in 1983) Susan Lucia, Ivanka Trump, Carol Alt, Star Jones, Kristin Cavallari and our own Gabrielle Kerr who interviewed Joan and I backstage. In addition, all  the major fashion editors from Vogue, Harper Bazaar, Town and Country, Elle, and Women’s Wear Daily were there. I wanted to thank Women’s Wear Daily and Style.com for the most incredible reviews! I could not have been more blessed and happy. I showed forty one looks from this collection and many will be the inspiration for what you will see from me on QVC.

Now, I am most excited about my spring designs for QVC! As you know, I always take the best shapes, styles and colors that I design for some of the most expensive stores in the world and create a collection for you. My Dennis by Dennis Basso Collection is only available on QVC. This coming Friday, March 2^nd, I will bring to you a really exciting and fashionable special piece. We’ll have several shows throughout the day with some of my favorite hosts starting with Amy Stran at 12:01 AM Friday! I think it will be a fun day so hope you can join me and be a part of it. As you know, I always love hearing from all of you whether it’s on my QVC blog, Facebook page or Twitter account. I actually read everything and always love to know what you’re thinking. I will keep you posted and hope to see you Friday at midnight!
