I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! My Mom passed away several years ago, and there is not a day that goes by that I do not think of her. I have such fond memories, and I carry them in my heart every day. A mother’s love is quite special and should be cherished always. I know my mother is flying with the angels and is still looking down to make sure I am ok. I miss you and love you.

Flowers for Mom!

I actually developed my desire to be a designer from my Mother and Grandmother, both loved to dress up and loved shopping. They were truly inspirational! I sometimes think about what she would like when I am designing. One particular item she always loved was wearing dresses and this is one of my favorite catagories to develop!

I designed this dress and shrug as a great go-to piece for all occassions. I was inspired while shopping in Europe by all of the crochet and lace trims I saw

and thought it was a great feminine touch to add to this ensemble. This dress is truly versatile, and you can add a different shrug or jacket to create a totally different look.
