Cheers to New Beginnings

Mood: Celebratory!

Hi there!

I feel like it's been an eternity since I've been in touch. The past few weeks have been even more chaotic than usual...and it's all about to come to a beautiful end.

Our oldest daughter, Cassidy, spent the last two weeks on spring break. We did our best to keep busy, but Cass demands quite a bit of activity! She loves her school routine and misses it terribly when things are different. Now, our Cassidy is 13 and has special needs. She's the sunshine in our household and is such a blessing to our lives. And when she's out of school on break, she rules the roost! She returned back to her day school program Monday and has settled back into her routine. I'm missing my shadow but feel so fortunate that we have found a school program that's a perfect fit for her.

Both sets of twins are having fun with this springtime weather. The girls have started lacrosse and the boys are loving their swimming lessons and sports programs as well. Before we know it, school will be over and the summer will be here. How can May be around the corner?

One of my dearest friends, Kelly, is getting married on Friday evening. We have been in each other's lives for almost 20 years. She's like a part of our family and has been like a sister to me. My children adore her. And she has always gone out of her way to make each and everyone of them feel special. (Which is so hard to do when there are five of them!) She has been by my side in the best and worst of times. She knows all of my deepest, darkest secrets and loves me just the same. So when she found the love of her life, Todd, we could not have been more thrilled for her!

This wedding has been the most exciting thing to look forward to. The planning, details, and celebrations have been so much fun. Of course she and Todd were thrilled when we gave them for their bridal shower—what else—but a Keurig full-sized brewer and K-Cup assortment Smiley Happy.

My role in the wedding is a very special one. I'll be serving as the officiant of the ceremony and I can't wait to stand before them as they make the pledge to start their lives together.

I love seeing Kelly so very happy. It's such a special thing to find your soul mate. Once you do, you shouldn't ever let go. That person "breaks your heart open so new light can shine in." And they have found that in each other. So I'd love it if you all could send some special wishes and good thoughts their way Friday evening. Keep your fingers crossed that I can make it through the ceremony tear-free. Doubt it, but one can hope, right?

As if all of that isn't enough excitement... Keurig is back on QVC Saturday afternoon at 1pm ET. Mary Beth Roe and I will be spending an hour with you sharing assorted K-Cups as well as one of our full-sized brewers and our mini brewer. Hope you'll join us as we sample all kinds of deliciousness and have fun with iced beverages as well!

I'd love to know, what's your favorite cold beverage to enjoy using your Keurig? Post a reply here or on the Melissa Fleming QVC Facebook page and Mary Beth and I may mention you and your favorite way to Keurig live on air! Smiley Happy

So, this morning I lift my cup and toast to new beginnings. New seasons, new lives, and new loves. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead and a season full of beautiful new beginnings of your own.

Before I say goodbye, do tell, what's in your cup?

XO,
