What's in my cup: Coffee People Donut Shop Decaf

 

So I just returned from a short getaway with my husband and dear friends earlier this week. Thanks to the blessing of wonderful grandparents nearby, we try to get away once a year. It's great to return home to five happy children who had a wonderful time with their Gramie and Pop Pop, Mom Mom and Poppy. The saying "it takes a village" certainly applies to our family. And one thing is for sure: we couldn't do it without our village. Our getaway time is such a gift and we appreciate it so much.

 

Preparing for leaving the house and five kiddos was such a stress…getting everything in order left me breathless! We had to laugh, realizing that all we had to do was toss our clothes, etc. into luggage a few hours before our flight. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. In the chaos of packing (if you can even call it that), we left our Keurig Mini Brewer on the counter! Once we got to Mexico and realized we had done this, two unhappy people attempted to drink the resort coffee. Let's just say we had dreams about our beloved Coffee People Donut Shop Coffee and leave it at that.

 

Even thousands of miles away, while lounging on the beach, Keurig manages to pop into conversation. We met a great couple who went on and on about how much they loved their brewer and were so pleased with the customer service they experienced after encountering a small issue. The best part was that they didn't even know we worked with Keurig until AFTER they told us their experience! I'm always so proud to be associated with such a wonderful company. I've been frantically playing catch-up since we landed back in Philadelphia. Laundry, paperwork, bills…the list goes on. But my focus has definitely been on the children. Walks, playground visits, impromptu ice cream in the middle of the day…we've just been enjoying each other's company. Coming home with a renewed spirit is exhilarating. Life just looks a little different.

 

It's been a little while since Keurig has been on QVC, and I'm so excited for what's to come! Keurig will be spending quite a bit of time with QVC on Sunday as we launch our new and improved, full-featured, full-sized brewer as the Today's Special Value! The water reservoir on this model is 72 ounces! Kristin Cefalo, Director of Marketing from Keurig, will be here presenting the brewer, and I'll be telling you about the fabulous K-Cup packs we'll be offering! I can't WAIT to spend some time with Mary during the foodie chat on David Venable's QVC page, and of course, with all of you! Well, off to start our day. I'll be filling my Temp-tations Travel Mug with Coffee People Donut Shop Decaf, and then it's swimming with the boys. I'm loving the comforts of home…the whisper of my brewer filling my mug is such a welcome sound. Along with the comforts, there's such truth to the saying, "There's no place like home." Even when I was thousands of miles away in the glorious sun of Mexico, my heart never left Pennsylvania. For that's where all the loves of my life remained…and I remained there with them.
