The Wait is Finally Over!! Let’s Celebrate American West Style!

Can you believe it’s been almost four months since we first brought American West Jewelry to QVC?  The response to our launch back in April was amazing!  It meant so much to us to see how enthusiastically you responded to our new designs.  Thank you!  Of course, now we’re ready to be back and can’t wait to bring you four hours of beautiful designs this Thursday, August 23rd in a special edition of American West Jewelry!

The event follows right on the heels of the world-renowned Santa Fe Indian Market, and we’re bringing you new designs from five of Indian Market’s most celebrated artists.  Fritz Casuse is known for his detailed, sculptural cuff bracelets, and all we’ll say is… he’s done it again!  We’re also thrilled to debut colorful pieces from Veronica Benally, plus a new Myron Panteah design that will beautifully complement pieces you saw from him last year.

We’re also thrilled to introduce you to two new Native American artists, Victoria Adams and Jody Naranjo.  Jody is an eighth generation potter from Santa Clara Pueblo who won last year’s Best in Pottery award!  She creates pottery using methods passed down from her ancestors and is known for the playful, whimsical characters she etches onto her pots, which you’ll get a taste of in the unique pendant that she designed for us!

And that’s not all!  We’re donating a portion of proceeds from the sale of this pendant to the Potters Education Fund, which supports potters working in the traditional ways and ensures the longevity of this amazing art form.  Take home this spectacular pendant and support a cause that's so close to our hearts!

Speaking of Santa Fe Indian Market, guess where we were this past weekend?  We were in the heart of Santa Fe, on the Plaza for Indian Market, soaking in all of the incredible sights and sounds.  Indian Market is the most important Native arts event in the world, but it’s also a fashion show extraordinaire!  Both collectors and artists come wearing their brightest, boldest jewelry, and we were on the Plaza photographing all of it. Visit our American West Jewelry Facebook Page to get a glimpse of Santa Fe spirit and some unbelievable American West styles!

And after you take a look at these photos, be sure to tune in so you can build your own American West look!  It’s all about casual elegance and the West’s sense of freedom, about mixing colors in a way that is fun and festive, and it’s also about the lasting influences of the region’s Spanish, Southwestern, and Cowgirl heritage.  If you love the romance of Spanish-inspired design, then we have some new filigree pieces just for you.  If you’re looking for styles to bring out your inner cowgirl, then we think a certain gemstone ring might capture your heart.  And if it’s the colors and creativity of Santa Fe that inspire you most, then be sure to join us for new Southwestern pieces that capture the unexpected colors of the landscape in a joyful way!

Tune in for two fun, inspiring American West Jewelry shows on Thursday, August 23 from 1-3pm ET and again from 7-9pm ET.  We can’t wait for you to join us for our celebration of American West style!
