Thanks Nashville!

Bill and I spent a magical week with our QVC crew in Nashville, Tennessee.  This was our final stop on our Seasons Across America tour, and I did find myself getting a little teary-eyed from time to time.  After all, we have covered many miles with our QVC family over this past year.    I am so touched by their tireless determination to capture every special moment for all of us to enjoy.  And wow, Nashville kept us busy!

Our base camp was the amazing Gaylord Opryland Resort!  We literally witnessed the enormous undertaking of decorating nine acres of indoor gardens and atriums, including 80 professional riggers climbing high up into the steel rafters.  We were there when the community came together to celebrate the lighting of over 2 million lights on the grand lawn. I recorded a radio spot for our upcoming shows on the famous WSM radio station!   But the highlight of our stay was the party we threw for our Sincerely Sisters on Friday afternoon.  I love to put a face with the wonderful words you have shared over the years on air and on line.  It is also fun to watch new friendships form though our love of jewelry.  And,  most of all, I love to hear your thoughts about what you love, what you don’t love so much, and what you are wishing for. I had all of the new collections displayed for our upcoming November 29th shows, and I must say that the response was exciting and touching.  Every collection had its fans, but there were three that seemed to steal the show.  Denim and Drusy, Meadow Mist, and Elegant Affair.  I think some of these are now available on line for a sneak peek!

Bill & Carolyn at the Ryman

As music lovers, Bill and I really enjoyed immersing ourselves in the colorful history of music in Nashville. Our QVC crew beautifully captured our visit to the famous Ryman Auditorium, the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Hatch Show Poster Print shop, and the Bluebird Café.  The people we met and interviewed embody what is the most lasting impression for Bill and I from our visit.  The sense of community in Nashville is truly what built this cultural gem of a city, and what continues to help it thrive.  The young aspiring artists have such respect for those who have created this vibrant environment, and those who have experienced success mentor the new writers and performers, and give back selflessly to the community.  I am determined to write a song  now and return to Nashville to pitch it along famous Music Row!   But for now, I hope you will join me as we celebrate winter in Nashville for three shows on November 29th, from 1:00-3:00am, 10:00-11:00am, and 6:00-8:00pmET.  We’ll share video and stories from our trip, and the new collection I designed to celebrate this gem of a city.
