Happy Vday. ❤️ Truth told, there were many years I hated this 'card store' holiday. Seeing giant hearts floating in store windows is no fun when ur hopelessly single. So how'd I meet my husband Joe? Eharmony. Thank you Neil Clark Warren. I swore I would never do online dating. But then some kind of supernatural courage hit me (plus I was tired of sitting in my Jammies on Friday nights) and I went online. This was Joe's profile pic...

So cute right? There was some other doctor dude who was 'bad boy bald' and almost had me crushing, but then my girlfriends pointed out Joe had the most honest eyes. And you can't teach 'honest'.

I thought he looked like he was running for President in this photo. And the one below made me swoon. I also kept wondering what he did for a living that always had him at a podium making speeches.

This was us on one of our first dates...

This photo is the night after we got engaged. Joe popped the question on my birthday and the next night a bunch of us piled into a limo for a night on the town.

This is us smooching on our honeymoon in Paris on the Pont Des Arts in front of the Louvre. We had just attached a 'love lock' to the bridge. 

So there you have it, our 'how we met' love story.



Even though meeting a special someone is well special, let me take this opportunity to say, on Valentine's Day, when we celebrate love, and loving someone. The most important person you can love and find...is yourself. It's not easy. I'm still working on it too. But it's the most meaningful and profound love you will ever feel. ❤️
