Winter Family Fun

The weather outside may be frightful, but we decided to have a blast this winter season. As a busy working mom, I feel like I am always rushing somewhere, trying to juggle family and work. But I made sure to prioritize the family this winter break and planned some fun for all of us.

In-between my busy media and office schedule, we managed to take some time out and travel to Colorado. It felt great skiing for the first time in 20 years!

With the help of an amazing ski instructor, my kids took their first steps in skis and they did pretty well! I was particularly proud of their perseverance not to give up despite the cold weather and a few tumbles. After an exhilarating day, we all had fun by the fire.

Next day brought lots of winter activities as well. Along with practicing our skiing skills, we also went ice skating.

Although all good things must come to an end, we returned home feeling refreshed, energized and ready to embrace the New Year. My New Year’s resolution? I want to focus more on the moments of my life I love best of all: snuggling with my boys while I read them stories before bed.
