Our Marketing Manager, Alix, is getting married. And she makes being a bride-to-be look easy! Since she is already a pro, why not take some of her advice if you or a loved one is planning an upcoming wedding?

Here are her tips:

1. “Before picking a space, figure out how many people you will be inviting. You want to make sure the venue is big enough but not too large either. You don't want it to feel empty. I've heard that about 30% of the people you invite will not attend.”


2. “Put together a general schedule to help plan and get one thing done at a time. I found a ton of great timelines on Pinterest. This really helped me stay organized and guided me through the process. Oh, make sure you have enough time!"


3. “When it's time to buy a dress, bring someone who will tell you the truth. You need a second opinion!”


4. “Have your ceremony and reception in the same venue. Traveling from one place to another can be a pain. Plus, you save yourself fees.”


5. “Don't stress and stay grounded!! It doesn't have to be perfect. After all, it's not really about the wedding, it's a celebration of love.”
