Welcome To The World's Biggest Beauty Isle; The CEW Product Demonstration

The annual awards season for television, music, and film has come to an end, but there is another red carpet season just starting. From now until May, hundreds of beauty innovators and product developers will be waiting to see if they have won a coveted Cosmetic Executive Women Insider's Choice Beauty Award.


This award season kicks off with the CEW Product Demonstration, held each March in New York. It's been called the "world's biggest beauty isle."



As a CEW member, I love going to see old friends and checking out new products. Here is Laura Geller working her magic.



I was even able to chat and grab a picture! with Giles from Color Wow. 


 


This year, I was interviewed about the significance of the awards.



Hundreds of skincare, hair care, makeup, fragrance, and body brands come to show their latest products. CEW members, who all work in the beauty industry, get to see, touch, and smell it all.




I especially like seeing the new anti-aging devices. Here's the latest  from Tria.



Now the voting starts! The CEW member voters all work in the beauty industry, so it is interesting to see what these experts consider to be the best new products.


The results will be announced in May and then we will have a show with the winners on QVC this summer.  I'll keep you posted.
