Say Goodbye to Winter, St. Tropez Fans!

This year we have a super-size choice of our award-winning Self Tan in Regular or Dark for the first time ever. It's the richest, darkest, most decadent mousse we ever created! Check out the models on March 7 and choose your color!

St. Tropez won the QVC Customer Choice Award for the Best Self Tan! I am so excited about this—proud as a peacock, actually. This will be the 94th award we have won!

I have been part of this product since its birth and I feel like its Fairy God Mother. Because I want you to have the ultimate glow and to get the most out of your product, I want you to follow these easy steps.

For your ultimate glow, you will need St. Tropez Self Tan Mousse, applicator mitt, a body moisturizer, an exfoliator, and cleansing wipes.

Step 1: Make sure your skin is free of product, especially deodorant (self-tan over deodorant can look ogre-like!). Exfoliation is key—the better condition your skin is in, the better the tan will look and last. If you wax you will remove your tan; you must wait a day before reapplying. A self-tan can sit into freshly waxed pores so please wait a day. Shaving before and after is not a major problem.

Step 2: Moisturize all dry areas first: elbows, knees, whole of the foot, back of the heel, and whole of the hand, wrist and any other major dry areas.

Step 3: Put on the applicator mitt. The mitt opens up so slide your hand in and pump the mousse onto the white side. The mitt should be clean and dry so simply rinse under the tap and air dry between uses. I highly advise to tan everywhere, tip to toe, for the most flattering look.

Step 4: Shake the mousse and pump approximately 2 pumps per limb. Use a flat hand and a light stroke and glide the mousse over each limb.

Refill your mitt as you go. You can never use too much product as the skin will only absorb a certain amount of tanning agent. As long as the skin is covered, the tan will develop evenly.

MY TOP TIP: Always have enough mousse on the mitt so that you can effortlessly glide the product onto the skin. This will also make application quick and fast. If you ever feel that you are dragging at the skin you are simply not using enough product. You can never use too much product.

Step 5: Start with the legs and stop at the ankles. Using the excess mousse on the mitt, glide over the feet making sure to blend in between the toes. Take a cleansing wipe and wipe off toe cuticles and nails. (It will stain nails and cuticles yellow, not a natural look, so it's important to wipe off these areas.)

Step 6: Tan your torso and your neck. Using flat-handed, light strokes, slather the mousse on.

Step 7: Reverse the mitt so that the white side is on the back of your hand. Stretch your arm around the back and apply tanner to your back. If you struggle, find a friend, or purchase our Bronzing Spray with 360-degree nozzle, available separately at QVC.com. It will spray upside down for those hard to reach areas.

Step 8: Apply your facial moisturizer, eye serums, and whatever your normal face skin care routine is. Let your face products settle in. Reapply more moisturizer to your hands and the back of wrists because the previously applied moisturizer will have sunk in already.

Step 9: Tan your arms, making sure everywhere is covered—under the arms and even armpits. Using the excess mousse on the mitt (or take a pea-sized amount if no excess is left) apply to hands, blending between fingers. Also remember to tan the sides of the hands. Wipe your nails and cuticles. Take a cleansing wipe and wipe the palms and use a tiny bit of moisturizer to blend from the palm about 5 mm up the wrist for a seamless tan.

Step 10: Now that facial moisturizers and serums would of settled nicely into the skin, using your bare hands or our St. Tropez Baby Face Applicator (available separately on QVC.com) apply a pump and spread evenly over the face, working in light, circular motions. Go all around the eye and under the eye to hide dark circles. Be careful around the hairline and brows if you have fair/grey or bleached hair like me. I simply apply a little bit more moisturizer around my hairline to prevent any staining. If eyebrows are fair, wipe over with a Q-tip.

Your tan will dry in 60 seconds. You can get dressed and look fabulous! I would advise leaving the tan as long as possible without washing—a good eight hours will do the trick. To get the best longevity out of your glow, sleep with it on before showering. When you wake from your slumber you will look like a sleeping beauty that has returned from her jet-set St. Tropez vacation!

I do hope you get as much pleasure out of St. Tropez as my clients and I. It really is a life-changing product that is great for a confident, happy soul!

Don’t forget we’ll be here answering your questions all day, so ask away!

Happy tanning!

With Love,
