Hotty Toddy PM Stylers! I am just returning from the best weekend in Oxford, Miss spent with my best friends… It was such a busy weekend.  Aside from catching up, going to the grove, beating LSU (Woohoo!)… One of my best friends got engaged Friday night!  She couldn’t believe it and I am just so happy for her.  They are both doctors and from a friend standpoint, they’ve got both me and Aaron covered, Ha!   Of course all of this meant that we decided we are having a double bachelorette party with all of girlfriends which will be one heck of a time.  That’s about all the planning I’ve done going towards my wedding…  it’s tougher than I thought it would be planning my wedding from far away… but I’ve got my momma helping me, and my sanity for right now.  So no news yet, but I’ll keep you posted!

Beauty Obsession: Josie Maran Escape to Morocco: Josie’s Face & Body Beautifiers

Right off the bat, I chose this because of my future mother-in-law.  She once pulled me aside and told me how much she loved the argan oil I had given her.  She started talking about all the ways she had used the oil and finished off her sentence with this final thought, “I wish this would have been around a long time ago.  I just know if it had, my skin would be a lot different.”  A lot of us are in the same boat with the benefits we’re seeing from argan oil, and I chose this kit, because Josie has you covered from head to toe.  Here’s what you’re getting and why I love:

Josie’s 100 percent Argan Oil- It’s full sized and that’s enough said Smiley Happy  For this time of year when the weather is beginning to drain the life out of my skin and body, like Bette Middler does in the movie Hocus Pocus, I rely on this oil every day.  Not only do I use it with my anti-aging serums to lock in those benefits but I use it as a moisturizer too.  Take a before and after of your face and see what your results are.  Argan oil works as instant hydration and your face will thank you for it.  My other favorite uses include applying it to the ends of my hair and hands.  Sometimes I look down at my hands in the fall and winter and think, what happened? I know what happened… it was the start of flu season and cold weather.  If you’ve got lifeless, dull, cracked skin on your hands, try this and enjoy the revival.

Josie’s Argan Balm- As soon as you get this home, dig your thumb into this balm and begin mashing it up.  This is not a wax, but a true moisturizing balm that adds a protective layer over whatever you apply to.  My favorite uses are applying to my lips as a protective balm and on the bottom on my feet.  I hate the way dry skin feels on my feet and this is a sure way to prevent that from happening.  Apply this on your feet, put on some comfy socks, and turn on the heat = heaven.

Josie’s Whipped Argan Oil- I miss the color of my skin when fall and winter hits.  The sun is not out as much; I’m surely not going on vaca anytime soon but I long to have a little color and glow without using self-tanner.  This is where the light bronzed whipped argan oil comes in.  It provides light warmth to my skin without rubbing on my clothes and gives me that subtle shimmer that looks like I’ve been somewhere.  It provides the moisture my skin craves and absorbs easily.

Josie’s Color Sticks in Rosey and Guava- These two color sticks may surprise you.  They’re infused with Argan oil which means rich, flushes of color that are long lasting and moisturizing. I use on my cheeks and lips mainly.  On days where I’m going a little more au natural, I will rub my finger on the top of the color stick a put on my eyelids.  It gives a flush of color without looking like eyeshadow.

What’s your favorite Josie product?

PM STYLE:

Take a look at this!  Isaac is bringing us a brand new 100 percent Cashmere Cardigan.  Oh Lawd… I love it.  It’s called a ballerina cardigan, but I plan to edge it out with black and blue.  Would you wear something like this cardigan every day? I would probably would never take it off.

See you tonight, on my facebook page, Courtney Cason QVC for PM Style 7-10PM.
