Let's Talk Send the Trend!

by on ‎01-18-2013 02:30 PM

Style is contagious, so let me help you spread the word with Send the Trend. I was a lady in finance, accustomed to personalized attention every time I stepped foot in a department store and the budget to build my wardrobe as I pleased. When I left that world to become an entrepreneur, I stopped taking a salary and had to go on a shopping diet. I quickly learned that accessorizing was an easy way to update my look from season to season on a budget. That's how I came up with the idea to launch SendtheTrend.com.

Imagine shopping a customized collection of fabulous accessories, jewelry and beauty must-haves selected to suit your style. Like a personal stylist at your fingertips, we take the guesswork out of shopping. Answer a few questions, shop around and our online destination for on trend jewelry, accessories and beauty gets to know you better. The result? Tailored recommendations for products you’re sure to love. What’s more? Sharing purchases on Facebook and Twitter and inviting friends to the site earns you credits to keep shopping, and our live chat feature lets you consult with a style expert in real time. Want the low-down on what’s trending?  Let me and my STT team become your source for chic speak!

I'm seeing Asian influences and the return of ruffles and flouncy fabrics for wardrobe. Contrast has also never been more chic, and nothing's more black and white than, well, black and white! We suggest a mix and match of trends - a flouncy black skirt with a silky white blouse, or a kimono style tunic with leather leggings. Of course, these trends transcend clothing - they're applicable to your accessories, too! Nothing makes a statement like a bib necklace dripping in jet black stones.

Two pieces I'm really loving right now are the Crystal Rose Clutch and the Mixed Chain Necklace. The clutch is a bit of a splurge but it's absolutely the most gorgeous evening bag. I've worn it so many ways-- with a basic little black dress and even jeans and a silk shirt. It is elegant, sophisticated, and polished and guaranteed to dress up any outfit.

The Mixed Chain Necklace is a serious steal. All gold? All silver? No way! Mix your metals and wear silver and gold tones together and make the most of your jewelry. This necklace makes quite a statement so I've paired it with my basics and have even put it on with a print dress for a graphic/mod look.

So, tell me, what spring trends are you loving?

STTylishly Yours,

Divya
