Honoring Holiday Traditions & Creating New Ones with Chaz Dean

Now that the end of the year is hurtling toward us at a rapid pace, I like to take the remaining months to reflect and give thanks. Though some of the busiest times still lie ahead here at Chaz Dean Studio, we know the holidays are a great time to honor old traditions and create new ones. Whether you'll be spending this winter with family, friends, or furry loved ones, cherish each moment knowing these are the times you'll think back on and be thankful for.

Chaz Christmas

Some of my greatest memories are of my childhood, which I spent with my mother, father, brother, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In particular, my family had a tradition we liked to call the "magical stockings." Every Christmas, after we spent an entire day decorating the house and tree in garland, ornaments, tinsel, and family relics, we grabbed our five-inch, cherry-red stockings and hung them above the fireplace. Each stocking had a name stitched at the top, so when woke in the morning, we knew whom each one belonged to. Before bed, we gathered around a plate of cookies and a glass of milk set out specially for Santa Claus. Then, our grandparents told us about our magical stockings. Though we'd heard the story before, we loved to hear my grandmother and grandfather recite the tale. They told us that every Christmas, with a little bit of Santa Claus' magic, our stockings grew in size to accommodate all the toys and treats. Without fail, we always woke in the morning and raced to the living room, where we found that our miniature stockings had more than quadrupled in size! They were so large, in fact, that once emptied, we crawled inside them to see if there were any presents left undiscovered.

Thinking back on these moments of magic and imagination truly reminds me of how grateful I am for my loving family and supportive friends. Even more recently, I can remember back to the times when I visited my sister and her family in Arizona. Every Christmas Eve, we holed ourselves up in her bedroom, staying up until the wee hours of the morning to wrap gifts for my niece and nephews and recall stories, like the one about the magical stockings. We liked to play tricks on one another, wrapping gag gifts we found around the house just to see the look of surprise on one another's faces on Christmas morning when we opened a gift of already worn socks or a box of tissues.

Chaz & Family

The look on a loved one's face when you get to share such stories or watch them unwrap a carefully chosen gift is something that touches everyone. Being able to show your family, friends, coworkers, bosses, or neighbors that you care about them is the greatest gift of all. That's why this coming holiday season, I've decided to put together a Today's Special Value® that makes stuffing your magical stockings easier than ever. The WEN by Chaz Dean TSVSM will be a set of five Cleansing Conditioners, four Seasonal Cleansing Conditioners, and a Pomegranate Cleansing Conditioner, complete with individual gifting boxes as well as instructional DVDs. Both the Pomegranate Cleansing Conditioner and the seasonal Cleansing Conditioners are universal formulations that effectively cleanse, hydrate, and replenish hair without stripping or robbing it of its natural, essential oils. Since each formulation is universal, they work on all hair types and textures for both children and adults alike. This year, you'll be able to give the people you care about the gift of beautiful, bouncy, shiny hair, which is something they'll cherish forever.
