Holiday Programming and LCNY

Posted by Mary Beth Roe 1352480027.57

I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know about a slight change to our Wednesday morning programming through the Christmas holiday season. The LCNY full segments will be on hold until after the holidays and will return full swing on Wednesday, January the 2nd 2013. WOW – 2013 …… can you believe it?!

So, for the next few Wednesday mornings, I will bring you different “gift” shows to help you check off all those special people on your “nice” list. This upcoming Wednesday, November 14th will be a two-hour special “Gifts of Style”, which will feature two brand new pieces from LCNY, including the sweater I am wearing in the picture below. It is so comfortable and can easily change the look of your outfit.

I hope you will “join” me on the 14th. For now, I will leave you with this little poem a dear friend sent to me:

Reason for the Season
When eggnog's generously filling
Each and every Christmas mug
And siblings tour miles and miles
To greet you with a hug
There's scarce else I'll be wishing
Than this simple little prayer
Of peace and calm and blessings much
On Christmas Day this year.

Thanks for the update on your Wednesday morning's Mary Beth. Thank you also for sharing the poem. Love the words.

It's hard to believe how fast the holidays have come this year. So many of us get busy wtih all the decorations and gifts and they forget to stop and think about the true meaning of Christmas.

I wish you and your family a blessed Christmas season this year and a wonderful and thankful Thanksgiving as well.

Blessing to you as well,

Lannette Steinauer

I really enjoy you as a host Mary Beth......but I'm beginning to dislike all these gift show. I know you have no control over programming, but some times it is too much!!!! I turn them off.

Thank you for the "heads up", MaryBeth. I have watched you and Linda every Wednesday morning since your LCNY Show began. I will miss it, as I am a fan of the LCNY line and of you and Linda. Have a wonderful and blessed holiday season with your family, and as soon as it is announced that LCNY is back, I will be waiting to watch you gals with my morning coffee.

I too, will not be watching QVC during all this gift giving special programming. I do not understand what makes QVC think that we don't need fashion items during the holiday season. At this special time, I buy MORE holiday and dressy apparrel and also buy fashions to give as gifts. WE DO WEAR CLOTHES DURING THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON . Oh well, I guess I will just buy my gift items of apparrel elsewhere. It sure was nice to sit down and watch fashions after shopping for everyone else, but I guess I will not be watching QVCl

LOVE...Love....love...Wen. I have been buying Wen Products in our local specialty store. I am so glad that I discovered QVC. I am enjoying the Wen show right now as I am writing. The host, Sandra..... CAN she just let the guest, Chaz, talk???? Please Sandra, you keep on interupting him. Just wait until he finishes talking, the tell us more. Thank you.

I really don't understand why QVC discontinues its normal programming for all these gift shows. They are really boring! It seems they show the same products over and over again. I think all your regular customers want to see their regular clothing shows. I will miss LCNY! This is a time when we buy lots of clothes for holiday occasions so I really don't understand it.

I,too, am disappointed that less fashion shows are on as the holidays approach. We need fashion even more during this time of the year! Come on, QVC, less gift shows and more fashion.

Hi, Mary Beth,

I miss the Liz Claiborne shows. Even on other fashion programs, there is hardly any Liz. Get the feeling you are fazing them out....is this true?

Hope not.
