Behind the Scenes of the CEW Awards

The CEW Awards are the ultimate in the beauty industry. Just being nominated and having the industry take notice of our products is one of the highest compliments. And then, winning for Sugar Passion and Sugar Lip Polish was so exciting. It makes me feel like there's an even bigger purpose to what we do because we compete with so many products from every company out there. To be recognized over the years by CEW for all of our hard work and the care we take to uphold the Fresh tradition of high-quality, effective, and sensorial products is a true honor.

The win for Sugar Passion was even sweeter (pun intended!) because we'd been looking for the perfect red for as long as I can remember, but could never find one universal enough for every face. Finally, we created the versatile sheer red of Sugar Passion. It offers a warm-cool pigment that complements the natural tone of a woman's lip, no matter her complexion. Inspired by imagery from Alina’s favorite book growing up in the Ukraine, Scarlet Sails by Russian writer Alexander Grin, the shade is reminiscent of a silk scarlet fabric—light as a parachute and barely there, yet rich with color.
