My friends, I have been a bad blogger. My apologies. Where have I been?!?!? Summer started w a bang and even though kids are out of school and teachers like my friend Kathy in Ohio have a few cool months off (lucky ducks) somehow it has been busier than ever on my end.

Am headed to michigan to see my parents this weekend. Mom is having some continued struggles w physical stuff and since I didn't get to see my dad for father’s day...this visit, albeit super quick, is much needed. Just got done ordering mom’s latest request: every eyeliner we make in jet black. She's on a mission to find a new one, so I sent her two of my favs from IT cosmetics and tarte. (I super love Bobbi brown gel liner and linda mason liner but those require a brush and mom needs a quick and simple pencil type liner) keep u posted on her feedback.

Spoke to sis in law today. She wanted to know what orthaheel sandals I love bc she wants to stock up. See below. And Niece sloane has lost four teeth and just started summer bible school. Today she reported she learned that, "god is always w me". Good girl sloane, right on.

Am doing the clean diet cleanse for three weeks cuz the body feels like it needs some major detoxifying. Sadly it means just about every food that tastes good, is banned .. other than organic chicken and salmon, quinoa and brown rice. So have been shopping for rice cookers on dot com bc somehow making rice in a boiling pot never turns out good for me. And thank goodness for the Chris freytag personal blender bc it is in use every day for the clean smoothies I have to drink. (Am secretly craving glass of wine, slice of pizza, and ice cream sundae)

Saw Lisa rinna coming off set today. She is stunning. She has a line of clothing on qvc. (ps stay tuned for fashions from Jennifer Hudson)

Just went to see wonderful movie chock a block full of British legends. "The best exotic marigold hotel". Stars dame judi dench. Incredible story of how when u let the past go and open your eyes to the possibilities, the most beautiful dreams can come true. I wept. Hate crying at movies. Always trying to hold it in and then try covertly to wipe sobbing tears without people around me noticing. Wish they'd start releasing new movies direct to on demand. On cleanse smell of buttered movie popcorn nearly sent me over edge.

Listening to washing machine spin cycle. I realize this is captivating information. Need to get those super wash balls we sell that replace ur detergent. So clever. They shud make bleach balls too so then ur set - no carrying any of those heavy gallons home from store. (ugh my local grocer sells tomato pie. That sounds so good right now.)

Two current addictions - Julep nail enamel. We featured it on TNB last week, see pic below. Founder of these cool nail bars in Seattle who has been written up in major major magazines, started line. Her salons feature cocktails and fireplaces. Brill idea if you ask me. I love her debut colors on QVC. Highly recommend painting toes every other one to have even more fun. And I'm about to give philosophy's new gourmet scent, rosemary lavender, to a friend's mom who needs some pampering. If these new chi-chi scents from Phil aren't online yet, sit tight. They are coming...

Next few months is going to be even busier. Off to Turks for a little R&R ... Off to Italy in late August for my early 40th ... and in between, you will see me gone for a couple weeks on medical leave. No worries, just a little girly procedure to keep the pipes clean and functional but it means I'll be gone July 19-Aug 3. Wish me luck. Isaac is more loveable and delightful every week on Monday nights at 10p and WAIT until you see the new premium handbag line he launches in Fall along with his fall boots. D-VINE! And now that Jimmy Fallon and Fifty Cent have stopped by Anything Goes with Rick and Shawn, I'm not sure how we will ever top that...so I have decided to live off of the pictures and memories.
