This had to be the longest winter in quite some time. I thought if I saw one more snowflake, I would cry. The good news is spring is here and summer is around the corner….Yippee!!!!  Finally time to pack away the coats, sweaters, scarves and hats and start thinking about your spring/summer wardrobe. It’s swimwear time!

The past few months have been so busy. My team and I are thinking out of the box and creating fresh new ideas and designs in swim. With both my sons away at college, I've had a little more time to devote creatively this year.

My youngest comes home as often as he can to visit. This past weekend he shocked me as I was leaving to go out for dinner. I'd just hung up the phone with him discussing his trip in the AM to drive from school to Florida for Spring break. Of course, I did my Mom thing, “don't forget your sun block, did you pack flip flops, text me the name of the hotel, etc, etc…” I hung up, looked at the time and started to leave for my date.  Then, the door bell rang and I thought, who is stopping by now?  Looking outside I saw a bunch of guys at my door recognizing some of my son’s best buds.  I opened the door to greet them and to my surprise, my son pops out in front of them! There was much screaming and lots of kisses and I still can't believe that he pulled it off. I had the best weekend and can't wait for him to come home for the summer!

So, no surprise, that summer is my favorite time of the year.  My kids and I love our pool. On any given summer morning, we all throw on our swimsuits to start the day. I'm known for changing my swimsuit many times throughout the day based on the activity going on, which is why you will always hear me talk about a swim wardrobe.
