My Husband, The QVC Red Carpet MVP! -- A Recap From LA!

by on ‎03-05-2014 07:18 PM

We've been back to our normal lives, in our normal time zone for a couple of days now, but my husband and I are still talking and reminiscing about what an amazing time we had in LA for the QVC Red Carpet event. While we were both new to the Red Carpet scene, I must say that my husband Adam adjusted quite well and made the most of his experience. Actually now that I think about it, he might have been the MVP of QVC's Red Carpet!

If you are a fan of my Facebook page, you'll know that our departure didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped. Due to some snowy weather, we experienced a number of flight delays and actually had to board two different planes before leaving the Philadelphia airport!

When taking into the flight delay and the time zone change, we finally arrived at LAX at around 8 pm; Just in time for dinner at Chaz Dean's house! I know I already shared an entire blog from this night, so I'll only include one photo taken from the evening!

The next morning I was scheduled to have a facial at the famous Kate Somerville Health Experts Clinic in West Hollywood. Kate's treatment is a celebrity must-have when it comes to prepping for the Red Carpet, so I was more than excited to be receive this A-List pampering!

After my luxurious and relaxing visit to Kate's clinic, I was summoned to work-- and by work I mean catch up with our amazing guests/designers while witnessing the Wetherly Garden at the Four Seasons transform into a glamorous Red Carpet arena.

After the walk through, my husband I met up with the girls from Tarte to grab some dinner. This was the first night in four years that Adam and I had been out without the kids!

The next morning/afternoon, before the start to the Red Carpet festivities, Adam and I went to The Grove for lunch. If you've never been before, you should check it out-- It was like the mall version of Disney World!

Then it was off to get ready for the big event! Starting with a "before" picture, here is how my look came together!

Finally, it was time to hit the Red Carpet! Obviously I was there for "work," but you'll find that my husband made the most of his solo time by mingling with the guests and celebs that attended our event!

Meet Adam's "go-to" Red Carpet pose... Duck Lips?

It's always fun when Isaac is around!

Adam was so excited to meet the lovely Joan Rivers, he is a huge fan!

Here is a picture during the event with George, Courtney, Lisa, and me. I think this might have been when we were signing off for the night.

And while I was hard at work... Adam found Carmen Electra!

I wonder what Lisa and I were chatting about seconds before walking the Red Carpet at the Pre-Party haha!

Probably the highlight of his night... Gabourie Sidibe grabbed my husband's phone to take a selfie! Partner's in Red Carpet crime.

And of course a picture with my friend and hair styling extraordinaire, Chaz Dean!

He couldn't pass up the opportunity to say "Hello Ross!" to fellow comedian and late night talk show host, Ross Matthews!

To keep up with my husband's celebrity photo opps, here is a picture with my friend Kevin who works at QVC, but check out who photo bombed the picture... Nick Cannon!

Here's a picture of two of us with Mr. Bob Mackie!

All in all, it was an amazing night! I was so happy to have Adam join me on the Red Carpet. I think he was a hit!

Before leaving the City of Angels, we decided to spend our last day sight seeing. We walked all the way from the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills to the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Blvd (5.6 miles!!) to watch as Hollywood prepped for Sunday's Big Award Show! Do these statues look familiar to you? I couldn't believe how big they were in person!

Although we had an amazing time in LA and on the QVC Red Carpet, by the time Sunday rolled around we were ready to get back to the girls! I hope you enjoyed the pictures and following along through my Facebook page!
