Many thanks to all the callers who called into our January 31 show! It truly is great to be back in the swing of things. I miss hearing your stories when I'm not on air.

Rick and I had such a great time! Isn't he the best? What a great addition to our QVC family. He's the perfect person to help out while I'm out on maternity leave. Bet you're wondering what made Rick fall in love with our shoes. Well, I asked him!

Rick said, "Ha...well, I've been wearing Birkenstocks since college and you can tell by my gray hair that it was a few years ago! I remember moving into my dorm freshman year in Boston and my roommate had these funny sandals on. He wore them everywhere. I thought they were so cool-looking so I started saving up from working at a local movie theater as an usher. My first pair were the taupe suede Arizona and then I was hooked!"
