You wouldn’t believe that we only met two years ago if you saw us today.  Getting Gorgeous - our company dedicated to providing beauty and fashion advice to moms - was founded minutes after meeting for the first time while we were both in Disney World.  Talk about the most magical place on earth!

Since 2010, we’ve built out our brand and become best friends in the process. We are so excited to be working with QVC by offering you our top picks and tips for this holiday season.  Here’s a little information about each of the Getting Gorgeous girls...

About Audrey:

I'm Audrey McClelland, co-founder of Mom Generations and co-founder of Getting Gorgeous. I've been blogging for 5 years now and working full-time as a digital mom for the last three years.  Connecting with moms every single day on my blog, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram is my passion.  I love to share my fashion and beauty advice for moms.  I love to share my favorite household tips and tricks and picks to make a mom's life easier.  And I love sharing my life online as a mother to four little boys, living in Rhode Island.  There's something very special about engaging and connecting and learning and sharing with other moms, there's a connection that is so unique and so very memorable.  

Running Getting Gorgeous events throughout the country has been so rewarding because we are able to share with other moms, in person, some beauty and fashion tips that are easy and doable. We love seeing the look on a mom's face when she has had her hair done, her nails done and makeup done at one of our events because she exudes a beautiful confidence that is incredible to see.  The social media world has truly become a virtual playground for me and my business.

I'm beyond excited to be sharing my favorite QVC gift picks with you this week, as well as sharing one of my favorite holiday traditions.  As a mother to four little boys, ages 4, 5, 7 and 8, the holidays have truly become more and more magical.  My sons start the countdown to Christmas as soon as Halloween is over!   Their lists are made and mailed to Santa.  They ask 100 times when they decorations will go up.  And they start acting better and better and better in hopes that Santa will send a few extra gifts!  It's truly a fun and beautiful time of year!

Hi! I’m Vera Sweeney, founder of Lady and the Blog, a part of I’m Not Obsessed Media, and co-founder of Getting Gorgeous. I actually created my first blog in 2005, after the birth of my first child. The celebrity gossip website I’m Not Obsessed was my first foray into this world and it’s still up and running at full speed today. In 2009, I decided to dive into mommy and lifestyle blogging, feeling the need to get a little more personal with my writing while covering other topics that I found interesting and important in my life. Today, Lady and the Blog focuses on just about anything and everything I’m “obsessing” over. Posts cover topics spanning everything from beauty and fashion, to family, food, travel and deal hunting (extreme couponing, yes, I said it).

I’m currently pregnant (and on bed rest) with my third child. We are eagerly anticipating the birth of our second son. My daughter is especially ready to meet my little man. I cannot wait to officially expand my brood. Three kids, two dogs and a husband of 11 years sounds about right to me

The holidays are here and while that means a ton of preparation, it also means candy canes, cookies for Santa and the priceless look of my children’s’ eyes when they see our Christmas tree for the very first time. Talk about the most wonderful time of the year!
