I love May. I love seeing everything come back to life after a long winter, and I love the taste of the upcoming summer that lingers in the air.  The smell of fresh cut grass returns, and I’m able to (hairstyle permitting) drive in to work with my windows down.  Not to be grandiose, but I’ll say it – May is magical.

I toss around the term “QVC Plus Crush*” to describe current obsessions of mine from the Q.  For one, it makes the guys I work with very uncomfortable, and two – it’s a perfect way to describe my feelings about these products. I’m totally crushing on them 5th grade Style.  

[*Also, I am fully aware that “QVC Plus Crush” may be like ‘fetch’. As in, it will not happen/catch on.  However, you cannot fault a girl for trying]

So for May, here are my QVC Plus Crushes: 

TATCHA One-Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

Lately my main workout has been swimming laps – and  man, that chlorine is really rough on your skin. However, TATCHA has been my complete saving grace. After I jump out of the pool and dry off,  I make  a beeline to the sink to wash my face with this cleansing oil. Immediately my skin feels softer, and  looks better.  However, I am sad to say – it does not remove the embarrassing goggle imprints that are always left on my face. Only time can help me there.

Dooney & Bourke Florentine Leather Chelsea Shopper

Look. As we already learned on the QVC Plus Blog, I love me some Dooney. However, even though I am currently set in the purse department, it doesn’t mean I can’t admire the fine beauty of another Dooney bag when I see it. This bag just screams “summer in the Hamptoms” to me. Even though I’ve never been to the Hamptons, I just have a gut feeling about this. Pair this with a chic Maxi and some sharp sunglasses? I wouldn’t be surprised if paparazzi started following you.

philosophy favorites mega-size bath & body trio

Not just Super-sized. MEGA-sized. Yes, you read that right - mega. This Lemon custard trio from Philosophy is gigantic. Not to mention, the scent is absolutely amazing.  I always associate the scent of lemon with summer, and this is like summertime in a bottle (okay 3 bottles) if you ask me.  And unlike a real lemon, there’s nothing sour here: just a pure sweet scent.

LOGO by Lori Goldstein Regular Button Front Cardigan with Lace Trim

Just because the weather is getting warmer, it doesn’t mean that a girl doesn’t need a nice cardigan every now and then.  Plus, it seems like in the summer every grocery store turns their AC up to “arctic blast”.  I mean, I get it – but that doesn’t mean I’m not freezing in the produce aisle. All of that aside, this LOGO cardigan is fantastic. It’s nice and lightweight (which is perfect for the Spring and Summer) and the lace detailing (sorry guys, not pictured) adds a fun, feminine flair to whatever you’re wearing.  Plus, that ‘Steel Blue’ color? Be “Steel” my heart! *
