Homemade Gifts of Food this Wednesday & Christmas with Lidia Bastianich!

by on ‎12-05-2011 07:51 PM

Hello, foodies…

I spent the whole day in the kitchen yesterday! Yes, some of that time was spent with you for In the Kitchen with David. But even after I came home, I got right back into my apron to do a little more holiday baking. It was a tremendously therapeutic day…and downright delicious, too!

Wednesday will be another yummy night on In the Kitchen with David PM Edition, as we're making my Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread. (Did I mention I love the holidays?!) Your family will ask you to make this dish every single Christmas going forward. And, as we'll show you on Wednesday, this makes a perfect homemade food gift to give your mailman, neighbor, or anyone on your list. More on that in the video below!

Ready for your blog question? Do you leave Santa a homemade gift of food? If so, what is it? Traditional cookies, a savory mac & cheese, maybe spaghetti & meatballs? Share your ideas here and I'll see you on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET!

Keep it flavorful!

David

P.S. Lidia Bastianich is joining us this Wednesday! Can you imagine what Christmas dinner must be like at her house? Well, check out the video below. Lidia was kind enough to make a full holiday spread for you to see, and she told me all about her family's Christmas traditions. All the recipes on the table are from her cookbook, Lidia's Italy In America (F09560). You have plenty of time to pick it up for your holiday meal! Buone Feste!
