My Great Aunt Alice used to say, ‘January... is a cold old month!’ I always think of her when I’m pulling up the collar of my winter coat against the harsh New York winds. And based on the weather we’ve had this week - boy, she is right!

With thoughts of spring on the horizon, and hopefully a trip someplace warm for a long weekend this winter – we can get through this ‘cold old month’ together! However, I like focusing not just on future good times, but also trying to add a little flair to daily life to keep things fun!

I love a hot cup of tea just before bed – what better way to cozy up and settle down on a winter’s night? In my grocery store yesterday they had a fresh pot of Bigelow tea brewing to sample. It’s called ‘Pomegranate Pizzazz’ and I was hooked instantly – even just the name put me in a good mood! Pick up your favorite non-caffeinated tea and serve with honey for a lovely treat at the end of your day.

Working with Isaac and his incredible team has taught me that it doesn’t take much to add pizzazz to your wardrobe. You simply need a bit of color or a lovely fabric to chase away the chill. This week I’m channeling Isaac’s love of color and bold prints when picking out my outfits for work and play!

Last week I was having a conversation about what’s in for Spring 2012 with Bridget, the buyer for Isaac here at QVC. We were both talking about how we can’t get over how happy we are that TANGERINE is so in this spring! It’s such a happy and fun color that I’m ready to wear now! I’ve already received so many compliments on this Isaac bag in Carrot. A198916 So yummy!
